Cairde de hÍde at Coláiste de hÍde is a very active association and is open to all parents and guardians. The Parents Association is a vital and valued link between the college and the parents of the students. It plays a key role in the life of the college through fundraising, volunteering at school events, student scholarships and the upkeep of our school grounds. Cairde de hÍde holds bi-monthly meetings in the college which are open to all parents. These meetings are friendly, informal and productive. Two parents also represent the parent body on the Board of Management.
The main aims of Cairde de hÍde are:
- To represent the views of parents and guardians
- To inform parents and guardians of developments in Coláiste de hÍde
- To foster cooperation between parents/guardians, teachers and school management
- To arrange talks of interest for parents throughout the academic year
- To raise funds for the benefit of the students in Coláiste de hÍde.
